Therapy is your space to talk about anything and everything. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—but it’s often helpful for me to understand your past experiences so I can better support you in the present.
In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know each other. I’ll learn more about your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. As we continue, you’re welcome to bring in whatever’s on your mind—whether it’s relationships, work stress, life transitions, family dynamics, body image, sexuality, or anything else that feels important. Nothing is off-limits!
Therapy is also a process that takes time, consistency, and patience. Just like any meaningful change, it unfolds gradually. Some sessions may feel like big breakthroughs, while others might feel more subtle, but every step is part of the growth and healing journey.
You can expect a collaborative experience with a healthy balance of compassion, curiosity, and honest feedback—designed to help you grow, heal, and create meaningful change in your life.

My fee for a 45-minute individual therapy session is $200. I do not accept insurance directly, but I’m happy to provide a superbill (receipt) you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement this way. You may also use HSA/FSA funds to pay for therapy sessions.
To check if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking:
Do I have out of network mental health benefits? If so, what percentage of each session is reimbursed?
Are telehealth sessions eligible for reimbursement?
What is my deductible for out of network coverage and has it been met?
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?

Yes! I offer a hybrid model with both virtual and in-person therapy sessions. In-person appointments are available on Wednesdays from 12–4pm at my office in the heart of Montrose, Houston.
If you prefer more convenience and flexibility, I offer virtual sessions through a secure, confidential video platform. Phone sessions are available upon request, depending on your needs and preferences.

Virtual therapy is often a great choice if you want the flexibility of meeting from home, have a busy schedule, live outside of Houston (or anywhere else in Texas), or feel more at ease opening up in your own space. Many of my clients find that the convenience of logging in from home makes it easier to stay consistent with sessions, which is an important part of progress in therapy.
In-person therapy may be a better fit if you strongly prefer face-to-face interaction, feel more grounded when meeting outside your home, or find that being physically in the same room helps you connect more deeply.
If you’re unsure, we can talk about what you’re looking for and see what feels like the best match for your needs.
-
I typically recommend that we meet weekly or every other week in the beginning to help build a strong foundation and gain meaningful momentum toward your goals. As therapy progresses, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs—some clients choose to taper down over time or schedule sessions as needed.
Therapy is a process that takes time, consistency, and patience. Change often unfolds gradually, with some sessions feeling like big breakthroughs and others offering quieter but equally important steps forward. What matters most is showing up and allowing the process to unfold at your pace.
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline for therapy. I’ll offer support for as long as it feels helpful to you. Many of my clients find value in a longer-term therapeutic relationship, while others take breaks and return when new challenges or transitions arise. Either way, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee.
You can cancel or reschedule by text, email, or through the online client portal—whatever is most convenient for you.
